We come here when we're looking for good Chinese food. The owners are really kind and we've always received good service. Togo orders are also prepared really quickly.
Dishes are large and filling. Get the enoki mushroom and Japanese tofu in a clay pot. You will not be disappointed! It's the best silky tofu dish I've ever had.
The restaurant is smaller so I recommend calling ahead if you have a bigger party. There is a back room that have two large tables to accommodate larger parties. -

Awesome HK style restaurant in Chinatown, with a deceptively area for seating than it appears from the outside. We happened upon this place while visiting and decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. So many options to choose from and both dishes we ordered had generous portion sizes and tasted great. Service was great as well!
We ordered the ginger and onion beef, as well as the enoki mushroom and Japanese style tofu. Both were generous portion sizes and very tasty. Would recommend both of these dishes! -

I finally got to try this restaurant with some friends who had recommended it. My husband and I have been on the hunt for a good local Chinese restaurant and I would say so far this was our favorite. I did t get to take any pictures but we did the garlic green beans, enoki mushroom & Japanese style tofu, chicken with ginger and onion, deep fried eggplants with garlic, beef chow fun, and stemmed fish. Everything was done well with the exception of the fish. The first dish was the garlic green beans, perfectly seasoned and the green beans weren't cooked to long. The enoki mushroom & Japanese style tofu was probably my favorite dish. The mushrooms were sautéed in a brown sauce, the tofu was soft and delicate and the mushrooms were served over the tofu in a clay pot but something about it was so good though it was simple. Beef chow fun was sautéed with veggies and beef and it was again not over seasoned and was perfect. Chicken had good flavors but I would say it was hard to eat because the way the chicken was cut had a lot of bones in it. The deep fried eggplants has fried fish on the side and seasoned with salt and pepper seasoning and this was also my other favorite dish. Again, not too salty, but the crunchiness is the eggplant and the fish were amazing together. The fish I didn't care for much. It was streamed with garlic sauce and the fish tasted pretty gamey to me. I generally love fish but I didn't care for this one. There is a possibility that if the fish was fried it might not tasted as gamey. I'd definitely go back and try their other dishes. As well as get some photos. But I think we were just too hungry that night.
I will say that parking sucks if you go on a weekend so be prepared to drive around for a bit before finding parking. Weekdays may be a bit easier but it's essentially all street parking like everywhere in Chinatown. -

Amazing delicious food! Restaurant is small but so cozy and nice atmosphere. We went to Seattle Car show which was at century link field and we decided to head to Chinatown. We are so lucky to find this place. So delicious food and quick service. I ordered half of peking duck and it was soooo crispy and delicious. (Best duck I tried in my life) My husband took beef short ribs and it was so tender and delicious. I can wait to go back to this place. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

This is a 3.5 stars review, close to 4 stars. Need to try more dishes.
While wandering near Uwajimaya, I came upon this restaurant with lots of photos outside that caught my attention; it's obvious that it's a Cantonese restaurant. As I am determined to find the elusive great Cantonese restaurant in the Seattle area (ahahaha), I went in to order takeout even though I wasn't hungry. It was 3:30 in the afternoon, and the place was not-surprisingly empty. I chatted up with the waitress trying to get recommendations. She was disinclined to come forth with any, except to say they have "everything", which all Cantonese restaurants seem to do. Ah well. She was nice enough I suppose.
Food:
Enoki mushrooms and Japanese Tofu (clay pot) - 5 stars
They call it Japanese tofu; I've seen it called egg tofu. I call it tofu heaven. My fave! They cooked it perfectly correctly. Yummy.
Asparagus with pork - 4 stars
This was a dish with a picture outside, but not in the menu. They made it for me anyway. The pork is a bit fatty, but the dish was savory good.
Shrimp chow mein - HK style, 2 sided seared - 2 stars, maybe
This was such a fail by the time I got it home having it for dinner.
The noodles should have been more browned and pan seared. It's clearly not. The sauce has a texture that is closer to broth. The fat has congealed at the top, which I spooned off. Looking at the non-existent content (~6 shrimps and a few pieces of boy choy), I separately stir-fried a full bag of boy-choy and some seafood, added that to the sauce/broth before adding the noodles at the end. Hey, I turned this dish into a 4 days meal. :P
I think this place has potential, and I will return to try it again. If you can eat quickly and also buy $20 from Uwajimaya, you can park there for 2 hours while eating here. ;)
